Introduction​

The maintenance icon will only be visible to you if you are a system administrator or a coordinator. Pressing the icon takes you into another area of the RAP system where you can view or change the configuration of your installation.

The maintenance functions allow an administrator to add, remove and amend the structure and details of the organisation for which RAP is being used. There are two distinct resources defined within the system, relating to people and the business hierarchy.

Users are created in the department or company in which they work but this does not necessarily give them access to risks and issues.  Such access must be given explicitly and may be limited to any part of the hierarchy, regardless of their department.
